Aundh is an affluent suburb in the north-west of Pune in Maharashtra, India. It was earlier known for its Chest Hospital. Since the mid-1990s it has developed significantly as a residential area with proximity to the University of Pune and the Software Technology Parks of India complex at Hinjawadi.

Road from Parihar Chowk to Breman Chowk is currently been redesigned as a part of Smart City Pune project. The layout of road will mainly address traffic problem during peak hours and parking problems. Aundh can be divided into the old Aundhgaon and the newly constructed suburban areas. There are a few major roads which run through the area, namely the Kalewadi Main Road, the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, the Wakad Road, the Gopal Hari Deshmukh Marg, etc.

The area has an extensive bus service and the Aundh Bus Stand and the Shivaji Nagar Bus Stand lie in close vicinity.
There are railway stations at Shivaji Nagar and Khadki from which the railway services can also be availed. The railway stations are approximately about 7 kilometres away from Aundh.

It takes about half an hour from Aundh to reach the Pune airport.
